Harmony for Maui: A Meditative Soundbath Fundraiser August 27, 2023

Harmonizing Hearts: Healing Through Sound, Uniting for Maui’s Fire-Stricken Communities

In-person and Virtual

Full Description

I was in Maui nine years ago for Reiki Training. I had two magical days in Lahaina before the training. I spent a lot of time in the presence of this beautiful Banyan Tree, quietly reflecting.

It’s unfathomable that so much of this area, places I visited burned down. The lives brutally lost. The lovely, peaceful place I stayed no longer exists. The restaurants. The magic theater. The stores. The homes. All gone. People and animals missing. So many displaced. How in the world do you ever rebuild?

The devastation leaves scars that run deep, leaving families and communities in desperate need of support. As we witness the aftermath, we are reminded of the resilience and strength that lies within the people of Maui.

Now, more than ever, we must come together to extend a helping hand. The needs are vast and urgent. Families have lost their homes, cherished possessions, and a sense of security. Local businesses, the lifeblood of the community, have been severely impacted, threatening the very fabric of Maui’s economy. Overwhelming to say the least. It pulls at my heart. What can I do?? Sunday, August 27th, I’m having a Meditation Soundbath Fundraiser. All proceeds will go to the Hawaii Community Foundation Maui Strong Fund .
